Can one of you guys explain this to me? I don't really get what he meant with the verb conectar, i thought it meant like relating to (i could relate to that short guy, because i am short too) or something in that context, but i didn't get what he meant. Also why did he say "sale" at the end?

here is the text:

pero tengo que conectarme con el, me conecto y te escribo sale

thanks :)

... but I have to get with him. I'll do that and write you, bye.

So sale is a way of saying bye in this context?

Correct it is like saying/emulating "(over and) out" ;)

@Waffle: "Sale" is the Mexican equivalent of "vale" in Spain.

The right wording should be "Pero tengo que conectarme con él. Me conecto y te escribo, ¿sale?".

¿Sale? = ¿Sí? = ¿Ok? -> ¿De acuerdo?
(An old variation and probably the original: "¿sale y vale?")

And he seems to be using two meanings of "conectarse": One, to get in touch with someone, and at the same time, to connect to internet.

Relatively the text context it means.

I need to do contact with him and later I will tell you it.

That could be the literal translation about the phrase.

Sincerely yours.
