Y no te ha pasado nunca, con alguien de tu tierra, que sabes que no tiene acento ninguno pero de algun modo la manera de hablar es tan rara que uno necesita un traductor? :D

Thank you for helping me with that sentence. I have a question...you changed después de to después que. Why? Do you only use the first construction when it is followed by a verb? No you can use both it's just that the verb tense changes. Despues de + infinitive. Despues que + subjunctive. e.g.
Despues de terminar la lección
Despues de que termine la lección.
And what about this one:
Get ready to take your horse to the arena.
Te prepara llevar (a?) tu caballo a la arena.
Use the imperative (you're ordering someone to do something). Try again.
