Please review this article. I found it funny, but have some translation questions. In the 3rd paragraph under Al estrellato.
It involves pronouns that I sometimes find frustrating.
"Tambien considera que Maureen O'sullivan, la chica de las películas de Tarzán, nunca habia podido rivalizar con ella porque se trataba de "una vieja trucha inofensiva"
Is the translation: 1) I could never compete with her because I was treated like an old traut not worth looking at. or 2) She could never compete with me because she was treated like an old traut not worth looking at?
I think 2 is correct but I'm not sure.

Also how would you translate salda cuentas?
Does it mean : tell tales?

She (Maureen) could never compete with her (Chita) because Maureen was an old and harmless trout (anyway it's said that Chita is male :D )

Saldar cuentas = to pay off the outstanding debt :)
