    You're welcome.

    Here is what I would suggest for the 'prolog' sentences you wrote in your thread. See if you can figure out what everything means. This little exercise may help you figure out some of the problems with your essay.

    ~~~
    Tomo un curso de español nivel IV (prenivel avanzado, (pre-AP, siglas en inglés)).
    Mi profesora nos asignó leer una noticia española y escribir acerca de ella usando ocho frases.
    Me cambié de escuela y los funcionarios de la escuela nueva me pidieron tomar un curso de español de nivel avanzado (AP, siglas en inglés) el próximo año y me trasladaron del curso de nivel III que tenía en la escuela anterior a uno de nivel IV. Así que mi español no es muy bueno, y es por eso que vine aquí con la esperanza de mejorar mis habilidades en el idioma.
    You can use them. It's also OK to use quotation marks. American English rules governing quotation marks do not apply to Spanish.
    I'm not sure if you'd cover this in your response, but is the << >> the correct way to quote from a passage in Spanish?
    Thank you for the PM
    And thank you for not doing my homework for me, I am trying to learn this language, and I know it'll be a tough few years ahead of me but in the end it will be worth it.
