Okay, so there's these two people- a man and a woman. The year is in the 1900s I believe.
The man is supposed to go to the train station to pick up an orphan boy who will come live with them to do chores. However, it is a girl. This girl, named Anne, talks a lot and have a lot of imagination. At first the woman won't accept her. The man, Matthew does.
Anne is finally accepted into Green Gables. She becomes friends with Dianne.
Anne is quite smart and at Sunday school, answers every question correctly, while answering all the questions.
She and her classmates were to take an exam to pass into the Queen's Academy. The best would earn a scholarship and go to college, along with others that pass.
Well, there's this boy Gilbert. He's very handsome and the girls love him ^^ He's smart too. He and Anne and the others girls and boy pass (with Anne and Gilbert as the top (they tied))
Well, then Matthew receives mail and finds out that he has lost everything ($). He is horrified and dies so sad!!
Anne, devastated, decided not to go to college.

yea let me explain a little more. The people acting aren't famous. They're just students that go to my school and every year there's a play based on a story. This year is Anne of Green Gables. The students practice and perform (the students that are performing previously decided to be in this play and some had previously performed in other plays). Then they perform in front of their family and friends.
It's a lot of hard work. There's directors, the cast, and of course, the actors and actresses.

No, no it's not a movie. It's real people performing. They are acting.

It's not a TV show. It's when people perform on stage. You know, acting.

hey how are you? I just came back from my school (no, I didn't go to school, I went to my school to see a play) Do you know what a play is? It's called Anne of Green Gables and it was awesome. I enjoyed watching it.

ohh so you sleep until 8:00 or later. what time do you have to get up for work? I have to get up about 6:15 so I can ride the bus to school.

^^ I won't sleep until 11:00, crotalito. that's a little bit too late and I have to eat my breakfast. Usually on weekends (fin de semana) I sleep until about 9 or 10. I can't sleep too late.

what do you mean I will go out very late? do you mean that I will sleep in (meaning that I will sleep more, like until 9)?

of course Saturday and Sunday we don't have work (for you) and school (for me). And we will go back to school (for me) and work (for you) on Monday
