I lived in Italy two years and have been back 5 times. I just took an advanced Italian
class at the Italian Institute of Los Angeles. Total immersion. I also took classes in Italy.
I have my master's degree in Spanish.
There are many Romanians in Italy and they all learn Italian subito.
Here in California there are Romanians who learn Spanish and some
are even Spanish teachers. Glad you are here on the forum con nosotros/noi.

Hola,Villa,encantado !
I'm a "principiante" with a rudimentary Spanish .I'm not able to use it in writing and less, ,in speaking .But I hope to improve this situation .ext time,if I have, I answer in ésta idioma maravillosa .
My native language is Romanian, a Latin language, muy cerca de Español, at least in what concerns the syntax but also, the morphology (to make yourself an idea , to say "the tree is green" in Romanian, I'll say "arborele e verde" , not so far away from
"el árbol es verde ", see ?)
But, I have, of course,problems with the formulation of more complex sentences !
This name,Puccini, is not my true name , but I chose it from love and respect for the Italian music and in particular, for that great composer and his capo d'opera TOSCA !
So I don't speak Italiano,but I understand it a little. I speak,read and write not a very bad English and Francais and also ...Hebrew (I live in Israel !)
