Ah hah!! I think that they DO warm their milk a little bit before putting it on the cereal. (Seriously....)

@Elaina: Tienes razón. El primer paso para un cereal rancio, es que se ponga aguado o correoso (Mexican colloquialisms for "reblandecer"). :D

"Rancio" es cuando le cambia el sabor, pero una vez que se reblandece, tarda muy poco en arranciarse. :)
