Attic furniture

Attic furniture

It was one room crowded with attic furniture.

Can I use "attic furniture" as "viejos muebles"?

Era una sola habitación con un montón de viejos muebles.

Thanks in advance.

Usually that's all you will find in an attic.......old furniture/muebles viejos.

:)

What threw me off the track was the word "attic". We have living quarters where each building has an attic as an appartment very expensive, with modern furniture.
Intead the "attic" in this case is the ""entretecho"<==click.
And I was thinking it when I proposed my option.
Thanks a lot.

... amueblada con un montón de trastos viejos.
... con muchos muebles arrumbados.

I understood it as having furniture from around Athens, but then it needs an uppercase A. :D

Not quite. Note that attic is used as an adjective, and I meant the English word Attic meaning of or pertaining to Attica, from the Greek adjective ’Αττικός :p

A Mexican would understand "entretecho" only in context, but we usually say "desván" or "ático". In some other countries they also say "buhardilla".

"Muebles viejos" would be universally understood, I think. :)

Well then, "muebles viejos" will be used.

Nice week.

Here "desván" or "trastero, too. "Ático" is the last flat. :)
