Fregadero
I know fregadero means dishwasher but what is the other vulgar meaning? (in textbook it says that it is a vulgar word in some areas)
|
According to my dictionary, fregadero means sink. Perhaps it can be used in the context of "scrubber", which at least in England can be used as an offensive remark.
I'll be wrong though, so wait for the natives :) |
Right. I've only known it to be a sink but who knows maybe in some other parts of the world it means something else. Let's see what others say.
|
To me, sink. :)

"Deja de fregarme" "deja esa fregadera" (feminine) = "stop annoying me" "Fregadero" with the meaning of "sink" is not understood by everyone in some countries and certainly not used. As for being vulgar, it is in the sense that it's not "educated". But it's not obscene by any means. . |
