Citadino

I Googled the word and found out that it means urban. I isn't in many
dictionaries however. Have you seen this word before?

In Argentina it's heard just in dubbed TV series and movies, meaning city boy/girl or urbanite. It's often heard from redneck-like characters. Locally it suffices using the adjectival phrase "de ciudad", and eventually "urbano".

In Colombia it refers to a person who prefers to live in a city rather than in a rural place.

Consulting CREA and CORDE, I found many cases -the oldest about 1950's- from writers and newspapers from Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Cuba, Guatemala, Bolivia and Venezuela. That's why it's the de facto standard for doblajes americanos. Good.
