Que significan las palabras del título? Una revista que publica cuentos cortos policíacos ? o casos eventos criminales? Gracias de antemano.

Readers Digest contains a whole range of very simplified and summarized articles, a mixture of factual and fictional. Something of that nature dedicada a crimen = 'dedicated to crime' could thus include fictional crime stories and factual reports of real cases of horrendous crimes. Whether fact or fiction, I think the point is that the style is extremely simple language.

Queda descartado que la revista contenga nada más que cuentos policiales y literatura. El Reader's es una publicación de interés general con historias siempre reales y un libro resumido ubicado más bien al final de cada número, mayormente también sobre historias reales. Es una "revista-libro", por lo que el nivel de lenguaje es un poquito superior a una revista común y la mayoría de los artículos pueden releerse 2, 5 o 15 años después sin que pierdan totalmente su interés.

Sorprendentemente, no encuentro evidencia de que exista o haya existido una edición de "Selecciones del Reader's Digest" en griego.

Thanks a lot Perikles (by the way how did you come with that name? any greek root ?) The point is that "dedicated to crime" sounds strange in Greek , something like devoted to crime, could be 'deal' 'handle" with ..

En 1981 se publicaron algunos ejemplares en griego (4-5) pero desde entónces (no sé porqué quizás falta de interés ) no aparecieron más.

This is an English collocation. A periodical or newspaper specializing in a particular subject is said to be 'dedicated' to that subject, meaning 'dealing with' or 'concentrating on' without any overtones of emotional attachment.

As for my username, there is no Greek root, only a strong interest in Ancient Greek. :)

The Greek font is difficult to deal with. As a test, do the first two lines of the Odyssey look like actual Greek, or do they appear as nonsensical characters?
