Is there a spanish word for someone that is outspoken?

outspoken adjective criticism/person directo, franco; he's very outspoken es muy directo or franco, no tiene pelos en la lengua (colloquial); he's an outspoken critic of government policy critica abiertamente or sin rodeos la política del gobierno; she was outspoken in her condemnation fue categórica al expresar su condena

If you mean someone who is open and/or frank/honest when they speak, use:
franco, -a
abierto, -a
habla sin reserva

If you mean someone who professes or declares a cause, use:
declarado, -a
