Thats BE in AE they say take.

We say 'make' in AmE.

I will take your decision and make it the rule.
The fact is that to take a decision and to make a decision have two different meanings. To take a person's decision is to accept their decision. It is a much less commonly used term which explains Perikles' meager 27 hits. |
