Tío

I know tío means uncle throughout the Spanish-speaking world. In Spain it commonly means guy. In Peru it means old man. Is there a tía equivalent?
In a thread somewhere somebody used peli. Is that the word?

I've also heard it used like Old, in epithets like Old Stickyfingers, or Old Pennypincher over there.

Like tío tacaño? or tío ladrón?

Exactly. In fact I think I've heard Tío Ladrón specifically. Some story I read in a dual-language book that explained the usage for me.

I think I've heard that in Spain and maybe other areas, you can use tía in a similar fashion to mean gal, although it's not used much like that in Mexico. IIRC, I heard a Venezuelan use it as well.

-Hola tíos.
-¿Qué pasa?
-Vaya una reunión. ¿Dónde están las tías?
-A mí no me mires, pregúntale a éste.
-Bueno, vale. (Da igual uno que otro): ¿Dónde están las tías, tío?
-No te lo vas a creer, tío. Ha venido un tío y se ha llevado a todas las tías.
-No jodas. ¿Adónde se las ha llevado?
-De calle.

-Sí, tío. Un tío feo, con gafas y pelo grasiento.

Of course peli is película. As you know we don't often use abbreviations
that way in English. We never use bici for bicycle. Telly is used a lot in
England, though. You probably know that.

We'd say, get lost, or more rudely go f yourself. Done in good humor, these are not necessarily fighting words.
