Caught
Caught in this sentence doesn´t sound right, can anybody come up with a better word?
I have caught this positive attitude from the Spanish succes |
I don't see anything wrong with "I've caught this positive attitude." I don't know if that is your intended meaning, however.

I have same opinion with you @ Rusty

I agree, I don't like the 'caught' in there so much.
I can't come up with a word to make the sentence work but how about something like .... The success of the Spanish has made me feel like we (I) have a real chance too. I'm feeling optimistic because of the success of the Spanish. I'm feeling positive due to the success that the Spanish have had. The success of the Spanish has been a great motivating factor for me. |
Creo que en idioma Inglés, 'caught' encaje bien; el problema sin embargo nace cuando esa palabra la traducimos al castellano. Se ha vulgarizado mucho.

¿Porqué no, "se me ha pegado esta/una actitud positiva que...."?
No veo nada malo con eso. ;) |
