I don't remember if I asked this already... but I am still trying to find the best translation for it.

-scape,
a combining form extracted from landscape, denoting “an extensive view, scenery,” or “a picture or representation” of such a view, as specified by the initial element: cityscape; moonscape; seascape

We come to a futurescape of total mass media control.

Could be translated as "Llegamos a un panorama futuro/futurístico de control total de los medios de comunicación de masas"

¿Horizonte futurístico?
¿Vista futurística?
¿Paisaje del futuro?

Una visión del futuro.
Un retrato del futuro.

Of course you can't go by me as a rule because I'm a native English speaker, but retrato del futuro seems OK to me.

Había llegado a pensar hasta en "futurorama" o "futurama" como neologismo... aunque un poco "tirado de los pelos".
