How do we say bronquios in English? Is it always used in the plural like in Spanish?

bronquio = bronchial tube
bronquios = bronchial tubes

enfermedad de los bronquios = bronchitis

I believe you can also say "the bronchi" (more "specialized"?)

I one said in Spanish "Padecía de los bronquios" I'd go with the English "I used to have trouble with my chest"
