keeping tabs on me
No se come traducir esta frase. "To keep tabs on" parece espiar, pero es
un poquito distinto. Ejemplo: The boss is keeping tabs on her. Yesterday, I saw him checking the drawers in her desk./or The convict is out on parole. The parole officer is keeping tabs on him. I think the best synonym in English is monitor so that would be vigilar in Spanish. Is there a dicho with the same meaning in Spanish? Thanks Poli |
controlar??
supervisar?? as saying "seguir de cerca", " te tengo vigilado","te sigo los pasos" saludos :D |
No se me ocurre ningún modismo equivalente a to keep tabs on someone. Creo que tus mejores opciones van a ser vigilar y monitorear.
|
Coincido con controlar o vigilar.
Otras opciones: observar detalladamente (muy de cerca) vigilar con cuidado no quitar el ojo (no quitarle un ojo de encima) tener bajo vigilancia no perder de vista |
Gracias todos para sus respuestas.

Here some examples:
I hope these examples are well. I'm tabs on the construction of the buildings. And I trying do it my best possible. I'm tabs on to one girl. I'm tabs on to a dog, the dog is eating the food of my house. |

Jajaja is some fanny, your questions.
I'm not inspector. And only it's a were examples. My dog still young, my dog still eat food god. And the girl is at my work, jejeje onmy office there is a gir, she like me. |
Also, tener en la mira.
Me tienen en la mira - They've got their eye on me / they are watching me closely / they have me in their sights. Mira = Rifle scope |
Tener en la mira a alguien significa más bien tenérsela guardada, estar esperando a que cometa un fallo para atacarle...
Creo que la expresión más coloquial y común que habéis dicho como sinónimo de vigilar a alguien es controlar. No había escuchado la expresión to keep tabs on somebody, pero deduzco que se traduce bien por controlar a alguien. ;) Es muy habitual:

Yo creo que monitorear is the best word for this.

I think it's a bug in the software that keeps you from 'shouting' or using ALL CAPS in a post.
