Lack opinions
They lack opinions.
I would have thought it means something like "They need opinions or they miss opinions", but I watched this dubbed in German and it was like they are allowed to have an opinion. Which would be correct? |
Do you have a bit more context?
"They do not lack opinions" would mean they have plenty of opinions... "They lack opinions" to me means they don't have any... |
To lack opinions means to have no opinion.
Someone who lacks opinions may may not know enough about a subject to form an opinion, but if you lack opinions in general then simple minded is what you are. How's that for an opinion? |
Sounds like a "fully qualified opinion"!
