Spanish for a 'gossip-head'
 

My Mexican friend told me a term that means women who sit around and spread gossip and rumors to each other. I can' remember what the word was. I know it's not chismosa or entremetida, but I can't remember what the word was. Does anyone know what it is?

Was it 'metiche', 'cotilla' or 'vida ajena'?
