Tenazas

Tenazas

Tenazas can mean pliers or tongs, but I heard the word when someone was talking about a woman doing up her hair. Can anyone shed some light on what instrument of beauty this would be referring to? :)

David, there“re also hair curling tongs...
Possibly, the woman was referring to that.;)

Chiefly Mexican, tenazas can mean a curling iron or a hair crimper.

Tenaza (without the s) means a fort such as the ones in San Juan and Cartagena.
