Which verb would one use for "it's all run out/ all gone/none left" when talking about about a tube of cream for example?

"I've used that cream in the past but it's all gone, I didn't think it worked very well" (A medical cream for sore skin)

"He used esa crema antes pero no me queda mas, no pensaba que funcionara muy bien"

¿Se dice "No me queda mas" o hay una manera mejor para decirlo?
¿Se dice "funcionar" para un medicamento por ejemplo?

No me queda más means there's none left for me.
To run out of is perhaps better translated se agotó.
I guess you can say that the medicine no funciona or better yet no funciona bien, but that's not what I would use. I would say es ineficaz, or very commonly, at least where I live, no me sirve.
