Robo is a conjugated form of the verb robar. (It is also a noun.) So, you should compare robar with sacar. Or, you could compare robo with saco.

Robar una carta is not as common as the other two, and is considered colloquial.

Tomar una carta is more popular than sacar una carta.

All are OK, but i say MY usage (so it's not a law)

when the man who holds the desk must draw another card:
sacar una carta

when a man must take a card from the desk (placed on the table):
tomar una carta
coger una carta
sacar una carta

drawing a card from another player
robar una carta
coger una carta

You can use the same verbs (tomar, sacar, coger, robar) for all thing, but this is how I usually use it.
saludos :D

PD: coger it's widely used in Spain, but caution using coger in other American countries
