To get a table
I’m not entirely convinced by my use of ‘coger’ below. Is there a better option?
You can never get a table in the library on Fridays. Nunca se puede coger una mesa en la biblioteca los sábados. Many thanks in advance. |
It's correct, although maybe the preferred expression will change from region to region; in some countries this would never be said.
"Alcanzar" would have been my first choice. Not like all tables are running away from you, here it means everyone took a table before you could find an empty one. :) |
Nunca se consigue...
