Share with us their insights/insight

-We invited celebrities from different fields to share with us their insights. Do you think the first is wrong? because an insight is an opinion, and when there is more than one person, there must be more than one opinion, so only the plural is correct. |
I have heard both be used in speech. "Insight" commonly refers to a collection of ideas and knowledge, and therefore can be singular even if the subject is plural. However, if the ideas and knowledge of each individual differ from one another, I think "insights" makes more sense to use, however I would say "various insights" rather than leave the word by itself to further emphasize the plurality of the insights.
