Morir vs Morirse

Is there any difference between "morir" and "morirse"? I have heard both be used, however I am unable to discern if there is a difference between the two or not.

Hi Jiyuuna,

"Morirse" expresses that the fact was unexpected or sad for the emisor and is a more colloquial/oral form.

"Morir" is a more formal standard and it lacks (doesn't have) emotional nuances.

A pleasure.

I agree with Julvenzor.
You might find useful this thread on the uses of "se". :)
