In many parts of Mexico they make a reference to a chinicuil which is the maguey worm. ¡te mueves como chinicuil! Wikipedia: Chinicuil, Maguey worm. :)

Leí que en la Ciudad de Mexico hay un restaurante donde preparan saltamontes y hormigas en salsas especiales. Segun lo que leí el restaurante es popular. Imagino que los insectos tienen bastante proteina y son fáciles y rápidos criar, y sus sistemas de nervios son menos sofisticados. Entonces la matanza de insectos causa menos dolor que la matanza de los cerdos o las vacas.Tal vez la carne de algunos insectos será la comida del futuro. No obstante, por lo pronto pienso evitar comer saltamontes y hormigas no importa el talento del chef.
