What is the square footage of the house? = ¿Cuál es el área en pies (cuadrados) de la casa? Is there a fire hydrant within a 1000 feet? = ¿Hay una boca de incendio a 1000 (mil) pies de la casa? |
Omg!
^ ^ Thank you SO much! I feel dumb becaus I can speak spanish but i forget words all the time. And I can hardly write in spanish. So this community form will be great for me.

Welcome to the forums!
Another option for "within 1000 feet of the house" could be "dentro de mil pies de la casa". |
Presupuesto o Cotización - Roof replaced
Wich would be better Persupuesto de las casas. Or Cotización de lasa casas?
How would I say In what year was the roof replaced? I keep confusing my self. |

hello!
I think I've heard "hidrante de incendios" more than boca de incendios.... |
Thanks, Pixter. I knew about hidrante, but thought it sounded too much like English and didn't find enough Internet hits to make me think it was popular.
If you don't mind saying, where have you heard this used? |
I'm pretty sure I've seen hidrante in the Spanish subtitles of American movies, but that's not really an indication that a native Spanish speaker would use it.

In Spain
fire hydrant: "boca de incendio/incendios" saludos :D |
