What's the context? "Gone astray" has several meanings.

If a person has "gone astray" from a group, it would be "la persona se ha alejado del grupo", but if someone has "gone astray from the truth" it would translate as "se ha desviado de la verdad".

THanks for the reply. I meant gone astray as in believing something that wasn't right, so I think it's the second translation you put se ha desviado.
