About a woman......

is this an acceptable and correct way of saying "i like when a girl takes care of herself from head to toe"

me gusta cuando una mujer ocuparse de su mismo de cabeza a pies

I think you can to say that sentence in another way, for example I can to say so.

I like when a girl takes care of herself from of toe.

Me gusta cuando una chica se cuida de pies a cabeza.

This example is another way to say that.

Crotalito's sentence is correct in every way.

so i'll know for the future: where were the mistakes in the way i wrote it?

Girl = chica
Woman = mujer

After mujer/chica you need a conjugated verb instead of an infinitive. The infinitive to take care of oneself is cuidarse. Conjugated, it is se cuida. Ocuparse de alguien means to take care of someone (who is sick).
The English expression from head to toe is rendered de pies a cabeza in Spanish.

yeah it's chica for girl because my Spanish teacher calls us girls in our class "chicas" sometimes and last year we learned that mujer is "woman"
