solo/solamente

Hola-

Alguien me puede explicar cuando se usa solo y cuando se usa solamente?

(y como ponemos los accentos y los tildes sobre las letras?)

Gracias!!

Re: solo/solamente

This might help you with the accents: Dealing with accent marks.

Sólo
(with the accent mark), and solamente are basically sinonyms meaning "only", although some native speakers seem to show a preference for one or the other. From my observations, Solamente might be just a tad bit more formal, like for use in a presentation or with your boss or something, but I think there's hardly any difference. ¿Algún hablante nativo que quisiera comentar?

Solo (without the accent mark), means "alone".

I´m a native speaker and I´m totally agree. I couldn´t explain it better.

Since I know you want to keep learning and won't get offended, I'll correct this. Agree is the verb, so this should be ... and I totally agree ...
