Numbers in Spanish
What is the correct way of spelling Spanish numbers for example 101 would be spelled ciento y uno?

Re: Numbers in Spanish
I think it would be cien y uno becuase one hundred is cien.

Re: Numbers in Spanish
Nope, johnny was right, it becomes "ciento" when it's a hundred and whatever. So yeah, I think that's the correct way of writing numbers. Unless someone who actually speaks spanish wants to counter that?

Re: Numbers in Spanish
johnny & shruti, you're both really close. It would be noventa y ocho, noventa y nueve, cien, ciento uno, ciento dos, ciento tres. From 101 on up, there's no "y"
