This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for December 25, 2008
oso - masculine noun (el) - bear. Look up oso in the dictionary Hay osos blancos, cafés y negros, ¿cuál de los tres crece más grande? There are white, brown and black bears. Which of the three grow bigger? |

embarransing mean oso: mi peor oso fue cuando el paste se me cayó.( my worst embarransing was when I drop the cake )
bear mean: oso. que bonito oso. (that`s nice bear) something like because I heard that word in my last class. |
Just so you all know, this thread is for discussing the daily word (and related words and expressions). It is not for "answering" a question in the sample sentence, if there is a question. :) The sample sentence is only for illustrating the daily word.

Interesting......I had never heard the word "oso" used like that. In what part of the world is it used to mean embarrassing? Does anyone know?
