This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for December 25, 2008
oso - masculine noun (el) - bear. Look up oso in the dictionary Hay osos blancos, cafés y negros, ¿cuál de los tres crece más grande? There are white, brown and black bears. Which of the three grow bigger?

embarransing mean oso: mi peor oso fue cuando el paste se me cayó.( my worst embarransing was when I drop the cake )
bear mean: oso. que bonito oso. (that`s nice bear) something like because I heard that word in my last class. |

Interesting......I had never heard the word "oso" used like that. In what part of the world is it used to mean embarrassing? Does anyone know?
