Can't find it in Spanish. This also may not be the most common English word for the candle remnants. The more suggestions, the better :)

Thanks! Cabo de vela sounds pretty straightforward. Even so, the dictionaries are inconclusive on the subject.

I'm still interested in synonyms, Spanish and English. It's all about the peculiar scraps, namely, spent candles.
