Espinilla

This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for February 6, 2009

espinilla - feminine noun (la) - shin, shinbone. Look up espinilla in the dictionary

¿Por qué un golpe en la espinilla duele tanto?
Why does it hurt so much when you hit your shin?

In Spain, espinilla is blackhead?

In Chile espinilla is a zit and blackhead is "barro" or "punto negro" :-)

In Mexico:

zit, pimple = barro, barrito
blackhead = punto negro
