Quebradero de cabeza

Is this a common term for a splitting headache?

Rusty February 12, 2009 10:14 AM

Two dictionaries listed un fuerte dolor de cabeza and un dolor de cabeza agudo.
I like tengo la cabeza para reventar/estallar.

I don't think there is any way this is a common way of saying it since there are only 8 hits for a Google search "Quebredero de cabeza". That being said, it also looks like this phrase is mostly used in a figurative sense, not a literal sense of headache, more like "pain in the neck".

There would be more hits if it were spelled correctly. :o (quebradero de cabeza)

"Quebradero de cabeza" is a mess... a situation either very hard to solve or very confusing.

agree.
"Quebradero de cabeza" it's a situation or problem able to break ("quebrar") your head ("cabeza"). It's not a physical sentence. :D

Right. A puzzle. Or it can mean a source of headaches (problems) like in "opening a can of worms"

I think that the puzzle can be your own life middle your headache and your puzzle game.
