Adults

For my project one of my sentences is
Los niños son mayors que los ________.
The blank is "adults". what's the Spanish for "adults"??

adultos.

Aunque yo usaría " los niños son más maduros que los adultos"

I don't think I get the sentence.... Is it saying that the children are more mature/older than the adults? Sarcasm?

Yes, I agree with you. The translation for adult would be mature. The children are mature .

Sorry, it should be menores, not mayores. -.- my mistake

Children are younger than adults.

young...er (er in this case means MAS) young is joven (1) jovenes (2 o mas) :-)

It does not make any sense to say they are menores que los adultos.
