Lend and borrow
It´s me again
I don´t understand well the difference between lend and borrow, could anybody help me? Thanks |
Re: Lend and borrow
To lend means to give something to someone, to share it and want it back soon
To borrow means someone lends something to you, meaning they share it with you and they want it back For example, a book, movie, or game. Hope this helps. |
Re: Lend and borrow
I have 50$ and my friend Jake needs 50$. I lend Jake 50$ and Jake agrees to pay me back in 1 month. I am the lender because I leant the money. Jake is the borrower because he borrowed the money. Jake better get my money back to me or I'm gonna shave his eyebrows while he sleeps. j/k
Hope this explains it. |
Re: Lend and borrow
Thank you, very much. Now, I understand.
