Y como se dice Yo ronco en Ingles? :wicked: |
I'm snore.

in this time , I`m snore because the climate is changing every moment..
it`s cold and it`s very hot. sunny and windy. that`s why. I`m snore..*_* I didn`t know this word. |
Crotalito, you don't say you're snore. Do you mean you're sore?
|

I snore. Roncar (en la noche cuando uno duerme) yo nunca lo hago...:whistling: |
Yes, you would say something like: "I snore so loudly that the house shakes." Or, "I snore so badly that I'm surprised my wife doesn't think there's an earthquake." :)
|
oh you mean that. I was confused about what Crotalito was trying to say. "I'm snore" didn't make sense.
oh, so roncar is "snore". interesting |
Actually, I believe that "roncar" is "to snore": http://www.tomisimo.org/diccionario/...espanol/roncar
I'm assuming, though, that Chileno was referring to snoring. Maybe he wasn't. He's being strangely silent these past few hours. (Ping! Hernan? Where are you?) |
@Hernán: you're evil! :wicked:
The word game Chileno introduced is between the adjective "ronco" and the verb "roncar", present tense "yo ronco". So a possible situation could be "estoy ronco porque ronco mucho" = "I have a sore throat because I snore a lot". ...but the verb "roncar" really has nothing to do with being "ronco". ;) |

:D Besides, roncar in chile (at least) also means more or less that you are the "commanding" voice. Quote:

Exactly I tried to say I snore. But I placed the word I'm as mistake of my sentence.
Thank you for you advice. |
