Yes, you would say something like: "I snore so loudly that the house shakes." Or, "I snore so badly that I'm surprised my wife doesn't think there's an earthquake."

oh you mean that. I was confused about what Crotalito was trying to say. "I'm snore" didn't make sense.

The word game Chileno introduced is between the adjective "ronco" and the verb "roncar", present tense "yo ronco".

So a possible situation could be "estoy ronco porque ronco mucho" = "I have a sore throat because I snore a lot".

...but the verb "roncar" really has nothing to do with being "ronco".

Besides, roncar in chile (at least) also means more or less that you are the "commanding" voice.

Lee Ying - "snore" is a verb in English. If you want to use the construction "I am..." you would have to say something like "I am snoring..." But that would only be if you were snoring right at this very moment. (Which would mean that you're not typing on Tomisimo at this very moment...)

*I snore. (Something that I do regularly.)
*I am snoring. (Right this very moment, I am asleep and snoring.)
*I am hoarse because I have a sore throat.
