¡Azar de los irlandés!
Tengan una día de San Patricio feliz y sana a todo!
|
Aye Matey!
And the luck o' the Irish to you too! |
You too ^_^ I wasn't wearing green today :O
|
What is the celebration?
|
St. Patrick's Day. :)
|
¡Feliz día!
@Fazor: "Suerte" is a better translation for "luck" in this case. "Suerte de los irlandeses" :) |
That's the problem with looking up words in the dictionary; there's always multiple words for each thing (going both English->Spanish and vise versa). Hard to know which to use when there's no context given.
"¡Suerte de los irlandeses a todo!" ? |

is what you wanted to say. |
I always look for new words twice: once in the Spanish-"foreign-language" dictionary and then in the "foreign-language-only" one. It's hard to understand at first, but it gives me a clearer idea about the meaning of the words. I hope the trick can also work for you. ;)
