Anyway
I'm aware of Spanish/English translation of this term, but I'm not sure
en caulquier modo really works in most cases. Example: They cancelled the meeting. I didn't want go anyway. I notice that the word anyway is often used in Spanglish. I assume it's because there really isn't a good Spanish equivalent in most cases. Do think my assumption is right? |

Of all that, the last is most used in Spanish. At least in Chile. |
I see what you mean. The translation comes across more as "by any means"; which is what the word "anyway" literally means in English. But I very often use it in the manner listed above. "I don't want it anyway."
I'm trying to think if there's another way to word it in English that might translate better, but I'm not able to come up with anything myself. |

To clarfy what Fazor says. I would translate I didn't want to go anyway this way: No importa, no quería o (and I don't even know if this is correct) Ni quería ir yo.(would it be all right to say that.) I certainly wound use en cualquier modo in the sentence.
Yes Chileno in any event is close to anyway |

Ni quería ir de todos modos/de cualquier manera/de todas maneras. :) |
Cancelaron la reunión, no quería ir comoquiera.
How's that? |
agree with Chileno
They cancelled the meeting. Better, I didn't want go anyway. Cancelaron la reunión. Mejor, no quería ir de todas maneras Cancelaron la reunión. Mejor, no iba a ir de cualquier manera Cancelaron la reunión. Mejor, no iba a ir de todos modos. Cancelaron la reunión. Mejor, no tenía ganas.... saludos :D |
Ni quería ir tampoco.
Creo que es eso lo que estabas buscando. :-) |

They canceled the meeting because I didn't want to go anyway. I hope to be well in my translation about it. |
I think the best form is like this,Cancelaron la reunión, ( pero) de cialquier manera ni quería ir. ^_^
