I may be mistaken, but el contrabajo is cello right? The instrument? Isn't el violencelo cello too? El contrabajo is one of my vocab words for the new chapter and el violecelo is one of the additional vocab.

"Contrabajo" or "violón" is the double bass... it's bigger and has a lower register than the cello.

"Violoncelo" or "Violonchelo" is the cello.

EDIT: btw, on the additional vocab sheet, Sra misspelled cello. Violoncelo, not violencelo.
