Hi all,

I know its a silly idea to literally translate from english to spanish most of the time, but I have noticed that bienvenido seems to be the literal translation from welcome (well come) (or came p.t.), is this a valid observation, if so what is the history of "welcome" to have another language copy the the entire literal meaning of the two psuedo words within the word, or............ have I had too many glasses of wine and there is actually no link?
