Slang from different countries...
 

I've been listening to alot of Reggaeton music lately, and of course hearing alot of slang used in P.R. and the Dominican. I've been hitting alot of dead ends trying to figure out what some words mean. For instance, I have no clue what the word yale means. The Artist Don Omar uses this word alot. In the song "Da le" he says

Da le, da le Don Da le,
Pa' que se mueve la yale.

Can anyone help me out, please?

It's usually not worth it to try to analyze these songs too much... the songs are meant more for dancing than for making sense :) On that note, what do you usually move when you dance?

"yal" is another hispanic slang word mostly used in South America. It is used in spanish song lyrics like reggaetons and means "girl" or "baby".

Esa es mi yal. That's my girl(friend).

pa' que se muevan la yale --> para que se muevan las chicas --> in order to make the girls dance
