Lap?

Lap?

How do you say "lap" in Spanish? Not lap around, say, a track, but the lap formed when one sits down.

Regazo is the standard translation for lap. You can also use "en las/mis piernas", which sounds more natural in some cases. For example (to a child) "Do you want to sit on my lap?" = "¿Quieres sentarte en mis piernas?".

poli June 30, 2009 10:50 AM

Los clientes lap it up like candy.
