Vendedor ambulante
In English?
|
Depende en lo que venden. Si tocan puertas son : door to door salesmen
Si tienen un vagón y venden productos en la calle son (por lo menos en Nueva York): street peddlars o venders. Son street venders si venden comida en la calle. |
street venders or vendors ?

Street vendors is the correct phrase.

Yesterday I saw a street vendor around of the underground station. |
Quote:
- near the metro station. - near the subway station. - near the underground station. |
Thank you for the correction.

I learned a related word in Mexico-- "ambulantaje", for which I guess the best word in English would be "vending". Do you use ambulantaje en Spain?

Se dedica a la venta ambulante. You often see signs in towns which say "Prohibido Venta Ambulante". |

I think viajero de negocio or comercio fits the discription best, but wait for
a native speaker. |
@Brute: Not really. A "vendedor ambulante" is someone selling in the streets. The travelling salesman is something different. In Mexico we call them "agentes viajeros".
|
Then Salesman mean Angente viajero.
Therefore How I can say Promotor de viajes.? |

travelling salesman = agente viajero travel agent = promotor de viajes |
Thank you for the information.
