Fusilar un trabajo académico
 
Cuando tenemos que redactar una memoria, una tesis etc.. no tenemos tiempo, le pedimos a un amigo la del año anterior, la fusilamos y hacemos una parecida pero no igual porque cambiamos cosas, en español decimos fusilar. COmo se diría en inglés?

Copy, plagarize, steal, and rip off, are all valid translations for fusilar, which is also used in Mexico, by the way.
