Dictionary in digital text

hello

is there a spanish dictionary in pdf/doc format?
spanish-english or spanish-english or spanish-spanish, etc doesn't matter

most reference dictionaries in electronic form come as software or CD and not as digital book or digital text, so I haven't find anything that will suit my need

thanks

The Ipod is a device.

Also you can get a great dictionary to way free in the internet.

thanks for your reply but I don't need a web-based online dictionary, neither a software-based dictionary in ipod (or audio dictionary, etc)

I need a pdf/doc copy of a reference dictionary like oxford, larousse, etc to buy ofcourse, if it's not free

Well if you go to a office supply store, I believe that there you can find a dictionary.

Look, I don't know if this can help you, but anyhow I will tell you only as a hint.

I'm doing my own dictionary in a excel paper, when I see a new word to me, I write it and later, I can consult it again.

lingos July 18, 2009 08:39 AM

thanks this is a good idea
I do this too (in a MS Word file) but since adding the words I come across is, for me, a slow way to expand your glossary, I want this pdf/doc reference dictionary to delete the words I don't need and organize the rest in a form easy to remember

I don't think an office supply store would have this and not a webstore, if you know a webstore that has something like this or a book publisher that has it please inform me

CrOtALiTo July 18, 2009 10:19 AM

For the moment, I haven't idea about a webstore, but I'm going again to the last thread of the dictionary made for you, you can continue doing it in the excel paper, because in the excel, you can add them filters and so the search can bes more efficient than before, I turning to cross the text with the filters easier, look this of other way, the PDF dictionary is harder to find something, for the reason that you have to find whatever the word and the definition with calmer, then if you find more something efficient, I can recommending you that if you have the chance to search a good dictionary online is better.

So you can a search faster and easier, simple it should be better and more effective.

But if you found some PDF or DOC document, please you don't doubt in sharing it with me .

I've never seen a dictionary for sale in a PDF or DOC format, personally.

CrOtALiTo July 18, 2009 07:56 PM

I also never seen a dictionary in PDF or doc, because the authors of the dictionaries normally they never will set the dictionaries online for a little reason that they never will see their earnings in the sells of the dictionaries, now that you can get them to freely and any software to download anything.

Therefore, I don't think so that you can get a PDF's dictionary or the other one.

irmamar July 19, 2009 09:32 AM
